Google has launched a cloud-based note-taking service called Google Keep. You can sign in with your Google Account using a web browse by visiting drive.google.com/keep, or you can grab the Android app from the Google Play Store.
With Google Keep, you can create notes, checklists, photos and voice memos — and all the content syncs across your devices. If that sounds like Evernote, well, that’s because it’s almost the same thing. An Android version of Google Keep [Google Play link] for phones and tablets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher is available in the Google Play store. It isn’t clear if Google will bring out an iOS version of its app or not — but we wouldn’t be surprised to see at least some of the Keep functionality on Apple’s OS in the future.
